As you may have heard from previous communications, Unifor has an ongoing partnership with Aleafia’s Canabo Medical Clinics, to provide union members with access to medical cannabis treatment.
If you would like to learn more about Unifor’s partnership with Canabo and the benefits of medical cannabis treatment, join them for one of the information sessions scheduled for next week. These sessions are being offered by Canabo as part of our partnership.

When using the benefits and coverage available from our relationship with Aleafia and Canabo, it remains your responsibility to ensure that you are adhering to your own workplace and employer policies regarding cannabis use. Members are advised to consult their doctor and to refer to their employer’s drug and alcohol policy to ensure compliance prior to utilizing medical marijuana therapy.
